The central government has rolled on its sleeves in order to fulfill its promise to promote infrastructure and target growth across sectors. Recently, the foundation for a new road linking Greater Noida and Faridabad has been laid, which will enhance the connectivity and stimulate all-round growth in the belt. The project spreading over 24km long stretch between Faridabad and Greater Noida is a part of the developmental initiatives for the NCR. It is expected that project will include a new 600-meter bridge over the Yamuna costing Rs. 200 crore. The planned road will improve the connectivity between NH-8 in Gurgaon and Yamuna Expressway.
Leading developers like Supertech Limited, etc. reviews say that the decision will act as a shot in the arm for the real estate projects in the area. The proposed expressway joining Greater Noida to Faridabad is like a dream come true for the people staying on Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
With the planned development nearby areas such as Noida, Greater Noida and Faridabad will witness growth with an expected increase at a CAGR of 20 percent during 2014-16. This will prove to be an additional infrastructural advantage in the developmental portfolio of Noida whereas Faridabad will have huge prospects of economic boom. Also, the adjoining areas such as Mehatpur, Lalpur, Bhupauni of Haryana, and Khedi villages and KMP Expressway and NH-2 near Palwal will see an increase in demand for real estate.
